How does LiveHelm protect our data?
All board documents are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Data is stored in the United States. We never use your data to train AI models, and no third parties have access to your governance records.
Our board members use screen readers -- will LiveHelm work for them?
Absolutely. WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility is not an afterthought for us -- it is the foundation. Every flow -- from joining a meeting to reviewing minutes -- is designed to be keyboard navigable with a visible focus indicator. We also offer a plain-language toggle on all AI-generated content.

Yes. LiveHelm is designed with CARF board governance standards in mind. It maintains complete, timestamped records of meetings, minutes, attendance, and action items. Board term tracking and conflict of interest disclosures are built in. Audit-ready document export means you can pull everything a CARF surveyor needs in minutes.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
Your data belongs to you. If you cancel, you have 90 days to export all documents, minutes, and records in standard formats (PDF, CSV). After that window, data is permanently deleted from our systems. We will never hold your governance records hostage.
We already use Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 -- does this replace our tools?
LiveHelm is designed to complement, not replace, your existing tools. It integrates with Google Drive and SharePoint for document storage, and can export minutes and board books to Word or Google Docs. Think of it as the governance layer that sits on top of the productivity tools you already use.
